Join the AWM Staff for this informative tasting of new wines and vintages from two of our favorite high quality European producers. The 2012 Nastl Grüner Veltliner is a refreshing wine meant to be enjoyed any time and it is a classic expression of this Austrian variety: dry and fruity with a lovely touch of exotic, spicy fruit. The 2012 Les Petits Blanc seduces with its perfume of apricot, peach, and exotic fruits. Great as an aperitif, perfect on a picnic or with seafood and spicy dishes. The classic 2011 Zweigelt/Merlot from Nastl is suave, medium-bodied and bursting with dark cherry and black fruits as well as classic Zweigelt spice – how about some grilled fowl or sausages? The 2012 Les Petits Rouge is a classic expression of Grenache/Syrah from the south of France. Bursting with flavor, this easy to like red is ready for action either with grilled foods or just with a loaf of crusty bread, cheese and an apple for lunch.
