The 2012 Domaine de Mirail Colombard offers floral notes, bright apple skin and citrus zest aromas, as well as a palate that is dry, crisp, and finishes with some minerality. The 2012 Domaine des Herbauges Chardonnay “Vieilles Vignes” exhibits ripe aromas of apples and pineapples. Racy, dry, and medium-bodied with complex un-oaked fruit flavors on the palate, this represents great value. The 2011 Vignerons de Buxy Pinot Noir-Gamay is a 50/50 blend offering enticing aromas and succulent flavors of red currant, and ripe red berry fruit. Hard to resist the creamy texture and the long finish tinged with subtle spice notes. The 2011 Mas Montel “Psalmodi” is a complex blend of Merlot, Syrah and Grenache exhibiting ripe, juicy blackberry flavors interlaced with hints of fresh crushed pepper as well as pleasant herb and spice notes.
